I just got hold of a copy of a license for this plugin that allows me to share it with my subscribers so I thought you might like to have a look at WP LIst Pro, and if it’s something you can use on your blogs please accept it with my compliments.
It’s a very simple but clever little plugin. It automatically adds anyone who comments on your blog to your mailing list.

Thanks Tony! Will take a look; I prefer opt-in but if used as a one-off invitation and opt-in done at later stage, it’s an idea – and we need new ideas.
Hi Ian – Use double opt in.. That way anyone who does opt in to your list knows exactly what action they’re taking.

It does work – make sure that you’re uploading the zipped file. Don’t unzip it when you download. Just follow the instructions that come with it.

Wow! Thanks Tony! So many people are all the time talking about the importance of building a list. I guess the time is drawing near for the journey to begin.
